Blots on the Heath
Get involved in cleaning up North Heath Community areas.
As soon as I can I will insert here photo's of places and parts of The Heath that are untidy, unsightly and never cleaned or cleared away.. I hope to make this a regular monthly event. Hopefully by then highlighting to encourage the Local Bexley Council Services, the people, residents and maybe local associations or clubs. I think the areas are and have been deteriorating slowly. Maybe a awakened new sense of a local pride is needed to be encouraged by all. Any comments can be entered in my Forum page. Also any photo's or pic's of any eyesores, rubbish in hidden places, or alleys too, All can be e-mailed or sent to me.

My previous comments and all of my critism removed as to no action taken by the Bexley Council. Due appreciation given to all concerned as of now that all is done.

Special thanks to Councillors Alex Sawyer and Brenda Langstead with the help from Janet Glander and Community Payback Team too.

All rubbish, litter and tippings, now cleared from all the areas except them below in pictures. These I understand are responsibility of the shop owners and flat tenants.Well done Bexley Services and Community Payback Team.

More litter and deposited building materials and old carpets littering rear approach from Hurst Road to that of Sense premises gates. This area was cleared twice before by Bexley Community Payback Team. A continued area of nuisance and eyesore and hygene still.
Areas I know of that are presently left still unsightly.
Birch Walk leading down to the Pom Pom.
Behind fences accumulated rubbish, old estate sale signs, rubber tyres, electrical house items. This area of spoiled woodland has much varied animals, creatures, birds haunts. It is a lovely walk but unsightly to both residents and tourists visitors too now. See suggestion in My Forum page.
